Hello everyone! This has always been a hot topic to me and I find it incredibly interesting. I love tattoos, I think they are pretty and help describe the type of person that you are. This is why I have 11 of them and counting. Now I know that not everyone likes tattoos. In fact my Mom and Step-Dad are very much against them. I also know that some religions are against them as well. However, I also notice that as each generation grows up that tattoos are becoming more and more popular. Having tattoos I get a lot of questions. The biggest one being, “Does it hurt?” I am normally very polite about this even though my brain always says, “Of course it hurts you dumb ass it’s NEEDLES.” I never actually answer that way he-he!
Anyway I have been getting tattoos since I was 18 and legal to get them. I always put a lot of thought into what I am getting. A few years back Kristina decided she wanted one and she got her first one. Of course I went with her. Well a few weeks ago she got her second one to match mine. We both got the Leo symbol in the same color and same spot. The only difference is mine is a little bigger. During the tattoo, I am usually so nervous about twitching and making it looks stupid so I hold really still and make no noise. This usually gives the impression that it doesn’t hurt even though I am cursing in my mind. Kristina, however, is not the same way and so I had to blog her recent tattoo encounter. LOL enjoy everyone, I know I did.

I have found my word for the year. Also, I found a mascot. Well, I could say that I found a mascot and then my word. Hmm. Chicken. Egg. Chicken. Egg.
I digress.
My fiance and I split up on Christmas Eve. It was a really hard decision, and I don't want to get into the specifics of it on here. We have been struggling for quite some time, and this is for the best. Throughout the last 6 months, I have been struggling within. Trying to figure out what I need to be happy, and authentic to me. Coincidentally, "authentic" was my word for 2010. I don't know that I am all the way there, but I see some definite clarity. Now I need to take this process further.
So I was at a gas station one day and right by the register they had these animals carved in stone, and an adorable little brown owl caught my eye. I bought it on the spot. Then I was thinking that day about my owl. Who. That is what came to mind. Who. Now this is my word for 2011.

OK one of the first things you should know about me is that I love to makeup stories and usually Kristina ends up being the butt of my jokes. I don't know why but I can usually picture her doing the weirdest things. Now Kristina and I have known each other for over 15 years so we already have some crazy stories to tell you. That will come later. My story today is about how Kristina finds her self so funny and to her a joke never dies. For example when we were in high school Kristina for some reason and even with my awesome memory I don't know why she started singing this little song that goes "Flesh is burning nananananah" Gross right? However she thought this was funny and I can bet you anything as she is reading this post I bet she is laughing now going that's right I haven't said that in a while. Now I am used to her repeating her self over and over and still laughing at it each and every time. She has since then found new things to say, right now she is sounding like a gangster when she swears which is funny but I don't know if its funny because she is as white girl as they come or because she smiles like she wants to bust out laughing every time she says it. This is also something she has passed on down to her son. Anyway she is awesome and a great friend and I look forward to sharing more stories with you.
